Kellie M. Martin is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for her role as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher as well as Lucy Knight on the series ER. Additionally, she's well-known as the main character in The Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin, the daughter of a department-store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her professional career as an actress at age seven, when her aunt, who was a nanny to actor Michael Landon's children helped Martin to get her a character in the 1983's show "Father Murphy". When she graduated from Yale University she began to become serious about acting with roles that she was able to land on the small screen and big. Martin as well as being an actor, is also an accomplished photographer and ballet dancer. Martin's sister, who died due to Lupus at age 19, was the inspiration behind her becoming the Lupus national spokesperson.
